Nothing is worth more

a little bit of Switzerland

This delicately coloured plant belongs by rights in the mountains in Switzerland but it looks rather lovely in the gardener's woodland garden. I like the shy habit of little woodland plants. They grow quietly in backwaters of gardens and can seem quite fragile in appearance ...but in reality are often tough as old boots.

My senior brain has already forgotten what it is called, but it is something like hepatica.Im sure someone out there (as well as the gardener of course) will know.
