A bird's eye view of our local Fred Meyer store. I have always liked the way this viewpoint provides a unique angle of the store's fully stocked aisles.

I needed to pick up a few last minute supplies for my first camping trip in over 14 years. My son's troop is having their annual New Scout Outing this week-end in the Cascade foothills and I needed to buy some coffee, jerky, and some new wool socks.

What can I say? I'm old-school when it comes to camping and hiking...
