I really like this shot although I'm sure its technically terrible. This is Lincoln Castle that sits humbly across the square from the peacock display of the Cathedral. In contrast to the embellished Cathedral the castle stands as the battered fortification that has been the site of trials and punishment for hundreds of years. The ugly sister, sturdy but uncelebrated.
