Chaffinch

We took a drive out to Newcasleton, to Emmas Grandparents old house, where we often see red squirrels and the odd woodpecker amongst other things.

Unfortuntly we didn't see any squirrels. I did see a woodpecker just as we arrived, but it had gone by the time I got the camera out of the car. So this chaffinch will have to do.

The house is sitting empty most of the time and we would love to buy it but with starting a new business I don't think it's going to be possible, which is a shame. It would be a great place for Ben to grow up.
