Snapshot

This is one of those photos that wasn't the best photo I took on this day, but it was the one I liked the best. It was a gorgeous spring day (yes! as of today, I can say "spring day") with the mercury reaching up to 73F/23C. Everyone was outside doing yard work it seemed -- the dogs hunting mice in the woodpile, Mr DH and I clearing some brush in the yard, the guys (Mr DH and my father-in-law) burning said brush, and my daughter making a picnic lunch for everyone. As I said to my husband, "When have we ever eaten outside in March before?" Never.

Even saw this bee doing its own kind of yard work in the garden. A productive day followed by a good night's sleep all around.
