It's hard to get some dates out of my head, like today, the first day of spring, time of new season, sun, shedding winter coats, promise of fresh radishes and blooming trees. Not here though. It's autumn, still beautifully warm, just some "imported" European trees dropping leaves, some quite opposite start blooming, most of plants are waiting for some rain, after dry summer. Winter is the greenest season here. It is all upside down.

Mr H had to do some work, for work, not house work. So Hanna and I set off on our bikes, did a little round of minor chores, had naughty lunch in a cafe, spent a good hour in a bookshop and ended up in the playground where we met her twin school friends. It was a lovely coincidence, the girls played, the adults chatted. Pleasant Sunday with a barbecue to finish off the week.
