Empty Seats

Off to Pittodrie against my better judgement, and because have already made the investment in season tickets.

Attending games with my son used to be fun but this season he has become so bored with the fare on offer that he starts moaning about wanting to go home about 20 minutes after kick off.

The number of empty seats in the ground is growing with every home game as the Dons continue to be winless and clueless.

Pumping high balls towards a Dundee United back line who look like extras from The Land Of The Giants does not sound like a recipe for success.

Still at least the team showed some backbone this week and fought back from being two goals down to get a draw in the end.

A minutes applause was held before the game in memory of Alec Young who was a vital member of the 1955 League Championship winning side.
