La vida de Annie

Fragile...

... was certainly how this package looked when the postman delivered it this morning. Wonder what part of that label wasn't noticed in transit? Fortunately the contents were well padded and survived whatever happened here (game of footie in the parcel depot perhaps?)

In some ongoing research into my ailment I read this today:

COPD is characterised by reduced airflow on expiration due to airway obstruction that is not fully reversible and usually worsens over time. People with COPD suffer breathlessness (known as dyspnea) that can lead to severe disability. This disabling disease is the fastest growing cause of death amongst the world's most advanced economies ranking fourth, alongside HIV/AIDS. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that by 2020, COPD will be the third leading cause of death and the fifth leading cause of disability in the world. The predominant cause of COPD is cigarette smoking.

I thought that knowledge was power. Now I just feel very fragile, and no I have never smoked.
