Discarded Toy

While walking the dog this afternoon I found this stuffed monkey up against the chain link fence in the plants at the nearby park.  I wonder if he was discarded because he is starting to unravel in a facial seam and a paw or if he was unintentionally lost.
No way to tell.
I always liked the faces of primates, so took him home to photograph.  When I walk the dog again tonight I'll stick him partway through the chain links but higher and maybe he will be reclaimed.
