Alien or rhubarb?

My unidentified red blobs from my 27th Feb blip have now identified themselves as rhubarb. There's lots of red stalks and big green leaves growing in what now appears to be a sunny part of our garden.

My question now is...rhubarb and custard? Rhubarb crumble? Rhubarb jam?
