She started sitting up this morning all by herself. We've had hintings of it for the past three weeks usually followed by a wobble then a left-or-right fall onto cushions (not forgetting a faceplant or two) but today she gave it everything she could muster and before we'd made it downstairs for breakfast she was happily sitting away on the duvet laughing and chatting non-coherently to BillyBearCuddleBear like he was the best thing in the entire universe.
