Buddhist Temple

In the middle of Eskdalemuir in the Scottish Borders. Our visit was just a few hours but as usual it was spiritually rejuvanating. It is the most wonderful place to visit. We arrived at lunch time; had coffee/tea & cake then went into Mahakala Prayers. Visited the shop, got a couple of bits. Walked a very short way down the River Esk where i cleansed my crystals & then we did prayers while turning the many prayer wheels. Back to the car for our journey home. It was a very cold, windy & very wet day & i loved every minute.....

Took approx 85 pictures today & this was one of my many favourites..... I have not played at all with this image, it's exactly as taken :-)

While on our way up to Samye we pulled into the services for a break. We were pulled over by the Traffic Police who told us they were carrying out an information survey for the DVLA. They were really checking if i had all the correct documentation/tax/insurance cover etc for my car. No worries as all in order but it was unusual to see the Police in a motorway services car park..... We were also asked where we had come from, where we were going & how long we were going to be there. When we told her we were just visiting for the day she said isn't that too far in one day? Replied that's why we share the driving.
Big Brother really is watching us all.....& now asking, are you sure you should be doing what you're doing...

Time to plod on.....Enjoy Thursday everyone. Please forgive lack of commenting, been too exhausted to do much :-)
