Woohoo! That's the last of the evening classes done and dusted. No more 12 hour shifts, not until September at least.

I have Thursday nights back!

It's not that I didn't enjoy these, but it's a long day and it was taking longer to prepare for the class than it was to deliver it.

Case in point...

After ten weeks the group were set the task of re-producing this composite image from ten separate shots. They'd been working through some of the guided editing modes in Photoshop Elements and this was a good way of illustrating what the 'Group Shot' function could achieve. It works really well in this version (despite a few mid session crashes which resulted in a few choice expletives thrown Adobe's way) and isn't too difficult to achieve great results with.

And it's ended up a really good way of illustrating what some of my other classes can be like (I kid you not about the Pritt Stick glue sniffing).

Students eh...
