A Walk on the Wild Side

Not really. It's Mitchell Canyon in Mt. Diablo State Park, where the oaks are just beginning to leaf out. There were lots of wonderful wildflowers in bloom, but they wouldn't hold still for a blip due to the wind.

The weather was iffy all day and I couldn't go 'till late, but I knew there would be flowers and I couldn't resist. Just as I got back to my car it started to rain, so I felt I had been blessed by the weather gods once again.
