Temple

"Rolls Royce's iconic design and its Spirit of Ecstasy figurine has provided the inspiration for a new sculpture in Hulme Park by George Wyllie MBE, widely recognised as Scotland's greatest living sculptor.

The 1.5m stainless steel sculpture, Temple, stands on the site of the original Rolls Royce factory. It opened in 1904 after a meeting between Sir Henry Royce and Charles Stewart Rolls at Manchester's Midland Hotel."

It's been in place since 2007 and is still there - yay!
