Harvestman on Marigold

Opiliones

This is possibly a female, does that make it a harvestwoman?

Although harvestmen are arachnids they are not spiders. They don't have a waist as spiders do, and they have only two eyes instead of eight. Furthermore, harvestmen don't have fangs and they don't produce silk. Some people call them Daddy Longlegs, which is not surprising because their legs are the most noticeable thing about them. If you look at in large you might just see its eyes. They are very close together top front.

Saturday Quote

Jane Austin was very good at drawing characters in her novels. Her people seem so real and recognisable. She started young. Here is one from Jack and Alice, a novel she wrote when she was about 14.

Charles Adams was an amiable, accomplished and bewitching young Man, of so dazzling a Beauty that none but Eagles could look him in the Face.
