Night landings

As a pilot I need to keep current in various ways. One of these ways is by doing three night take-offs and landings. So, I went down to the airport and started my mission. As I was waiting to take off for the third time, tower told me there were some clouds that have rolled in over the airport at 1600'. Now, I need to fly the pattern at 1100' and leave a 500' clearance above me for clouds. That means if they came down another 100', I would have to go to another airport to land. So, I opted to bail on that take-off. I am actually just taxying down the runway when I took this photo. What a beautiful view it is to fly at night.
