On top of the Monument...

So today, before work, I took advantage of a valuable hour that I had spare and since it was sunny.

SO I headed into town and started taking some photos of Grey's Monument when I noticed there were people up top, which isn't normally the case.

It turns out that for the next few weeks they have it open to the public on a Saturday, so up I went. Very nice views, which unfortunately I failed to really capture. This Blip above seems to be about the best I could get.

Oh well, was still a really nice experience, since i've lived in Newcastle my entire life but never been up there.
