Hail to the Tree

Went exploring around Newhailes, a National Trust place in East Lothian, today. Strange place - maybe to do with the weather and time of year, but it seemed sad and neglected. The kind of place they would stumble across in some post-apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy and ruminate about civilisations that had been wiped out.

Definitely one to go back to though - I've got a feeling it looks amazing in summer.

This awesome tree was the stand out blip though - amazing against the horizon of the Forth
