Pack it in

Joe considers packing it all in.

This afternoon the house was invaded by a small army of ten year old girls for a viewing of "New Moon" so me, Joe and Eve made a run for it.

We ended up at Doodles, a ceramic studio, which only added insult to injury for Joe, I took all three kids when they were very small to the same place to have their footprints and handprints put onto plates as presents for Grandparents. It went so badly and was such a performance of screaming and bellowing that in our house any stupid suggestion is usually criticized as being a "doodles moment". Clearly Joe still hasn't got over it because whilst Eve got busy with paints and stencils he lolloped on a sofa playing games on my iPhone.

Eventually we were allowed back home and he's happily positioned in front of the Wii again and planning his Wrestlemania party tomorrow.

Also had a lunchtime visit from Cousin Tom this morning which cheered him up. It cheered me up too when Tom (studying Applied Mathematics and Japanese at Edinburgh University) couldn't do the kids maths homework.
