New Urbanism

Back in the small village/city where I live with my youngest son. I moved here about a year ago when me and M-bird separated and sold our old school house in Österlen.

The village is called Jakriborg and is built in a kind of neotraditional design, like an old Hansa city in middle Europe. This design is quite controversial within contemporary architect circles, which tend to deem it as reactionary! Yet, I prefere it compared to many of the (post)modern concrete-and-glass houses surrounding us, which I find quite ugly and unpleasant! New urbanism villages like this one is found also in other places around the globe.
