Posting a Letter

These days posting a letter is not a common every day occurrence. The phone is so easy to pick up, or to send an e mail. My mother is nearly 96, and is now in a 'home'. I do ring her, but every now and again I send a letter as I know that she enjoys receiving one, and can absorb the news easier. Mind you I have to say it is typed on the computer and not hand written as it should be.
There are not as many Post Boxes around on the streets as there used to be, but we still do have mail delivered, so I suppose we should be thankful for that!
