Hearth

I liked the gloss of the kettle in the darkness, as well as the 2 different wood grains. The kettle rests in a warm place; on the mantle above my fireplace. I don't commonly use the word "hearth", instead of fireplace, but it seems a fitting word for a warm spot (like the heart) of the house.
