It was meant to the be final farewell of the Nimrod MR2 from RAF Kinloss tonight, but tonight's miserable weather worked against it. The MR2 has been withdrawn from service ahead of the new MRA4 being launched in 2011. Instead, I had to settle for another picture of the stripped out version at the crash gate.
