Passover Meal

For the past ten or more years we have celebrated the last supper by holding a Passover meal with friends from our church. For the first time this was held at our daughter's house. It puts the last supper into context with the Passover festival. We use a combination of readings from the Old and New Testaments and we have the four cups of wine at appropriate points, plus the breaking of the bread, the afikomen. The meal is a really good one and usually has chicken soup with matzo balls, gefilter fish, a lamb dish, a dessert and then coconut cones. We always finish by saying "next year in Jerusalem"!
