Triduum: Holy Saturday

From Adam's side was our humanity born in Eve, our source of life and mother of us all. And we resided in an earthly paradise.

Fallen, we slept in the earth somewhere beneath the earthly paradise.

From the Second Adam's side were and are the saints born of water and of blood -- of baptism and eucharist -- and we among them. Not into the lost earthly paradise are the saints reborn, but into a genuine and spiritual paradise.
