The ultimate camping trip was the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Complete and utter lazy day today. We did nothing. I think Charlotte managed some drawings and maybe some reading. I completed a book review that was due last week and Michael was probably working on Lanchester stuff for next week.

The highlight, for Charlotte, was setting up her tent in the front room. She's been wanting to go camping for over a year now. Actually, I think Nanny and Gahdoo bought this for her 7th birthday. So when she saw the tent the other day and asked if she could put it up, we figured 'Why not?' So now we have a tent for 4 (or is it 5) people now residing in our front room. Charlotte is planning on sleeping there overnight, as indicated by the sleeping bag, camping light, pillows, cushions and games already installed in the tent. She has even mentioned going to bed by 8 (although we all had a laugh at that!).

But knowing Charlotte, she won't last long at all. Knowing us, the tent will be up for longer then expected.

Which reminds me, we should have taken the Christmas tree down today. Oh well.
