Cramond

Met up with family for a carvery at Laurieston Farm, and then headed over to Cramond to walk off the four roast meats and several veg.

This is the view of the Causeway to Cramond Island, over the Firth of Forth to Fife - try saying that quickly.

The tide was out. Many folks were crossing over to the Island along the path beside the concrete pylons, which formed a submarine defence boom during World War II.

I also found the Cramond Fish by Ronald Rae - a large sculpture carved out of a single piece of granite - worth seeing.
