2day: painting...at last!!

but i'll do it my way... (well his way really)

"Take thy plastic spade,
It is thy pencil;
Take thy seeds, thy plants,
They are thy colours."

William Mason, The English Garden, 1782

(so...gardening it is!...gonna tickle the earth with a hoe and hopefully she'll laugh!?)

Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

(well, to be honest, I wouldn't mind a bit less wind!?)

"Many things grow in the garden that were never sown there."
Thomas Fuller, Gnomologia, 1732

(like this lovely, lonely daisy - the "only" flower in my garden at the moment..)

"When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant."
Author Unknown

(thank god she refused to come out! no valuable plants to pull so i may have a coffee now...)

"Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration."
Lou Erickson

(water is abundant here in Friesland - even indoors! - so hopefully no much "perspiration" will be required from "moi"...)

pssst!!

i'm a bit of a last minute person, besides...any excuse to avoid painting the shed!!
