Close shave

I was driving home last week and my petrol light came on. We live in the middle of the countryside so have no petrol stations around. I figured, thats ok, next time I go out I will fill up and be ready for work on tuesday.

Well I didn't drive my car all wknd and totally forgot. I got in this morning and realised what I had done.

Well there is a petrol station relatively close on my drive to godalming but as I was heading to Worthing I had a lot further to drive.

I was driving in 5th gear most of the 12 or so miles to the nearest petrol station!

It was a very hairy drive as I couldn't remember how close to home I ran out last week.. I made it though. It must have been pretty low!
