Hyacinth

These hyacinths were in a pot in the house last year and, after flowering, I planted them in the garden where they have just started to come out. Beautiful flowers - they remind me of stephanotis - and gorgeous scent as well, particularly today now that the wind has died down and the sun has warmed the air.

Dropped the car off for a service this morning and put the bike in the boot to cycle back to the house. So, two days in a row for some serious exercise for me. Garage, however, has just 'phoned to say that two spare parts that I specifically asked to be there to be fitted when it was in for its service are still on order. Service? - you have got to be joking!
