Walking in the Tramantura - Day One

A day of two halves. First day here and the weather could either close in or lift off. After an hour or two, images of cars floating off down roads in torrents went through my mind.

And then, the cloud lifted and the sun came out and it was bliddy gorgeous, but by then I'd thrown the towel in. In fact the towel was so heavy with water I couldn't throw it anywhere. Even my socks held a pint each. And that gave me an idea. I'd out-drink my socks.

The photo here, is of pre-deluge Biniaraix, across the valley.
