289 [caledonian canal]

After a busy day at work, a long walk was just what I needed. And, as it turned out, exactly what I got.

We decided mid-afternoon that we'd attempt the Dochgarroch walk, so I left work early to get home and change, and went round to meet Murphy [and Mum] to head down to the Caledonian Canal. It's was a cracking walk - it's along the canal towpath, so it's flat all the way; great weather for walking [but not photography]; and plenty of places for Murph to explore, and swim!

When I got home, I googled the route for the distance, and was surprised to find it's 12.08km - 7.5miles!! Not bad for a post-work stroll!
