In Rome, pizza doesn't come only in large round discs: most pizzerie and "pizza al taglio" places also sell slices cut from long-shaped pizza.

(in this pic, l-r: pizza with mozzarella, zucchini blossoms and cherry tomatoes; pizza with mozzarella, eggplant and tomato; pizza with egg salad -- not quite sure I'd eat the latter, but I guess that's just me being picky.)
