Our five mile world

Eve and Tigger!

Awoken to the delightful sounds of Amy and Eve laughing and chattering.
The early morning sun was streaming through the window as they bounced on the bed like a pair of Tiggers!

It is now half past eight in the evening, Eve is in bed fast asleep. She is such a wee live wire! Peace reigns.
Ah such bliss!

I'm tired and incredibly happy.

We had E and F over to play for the day and we went for a 'big' walk followed by a picnic.
The children adored seeing the hibernating hedgehog which Bill found underneath our creeping juniper bush. It's little body breathing slowly in time to the rhythm of the emerging spring.
Then we counted over 30 frogs and toads in our pond!!!!
Some of them 'cuddling' each other...............the little ones remarked as A and E smiled knowingly! That's how tadpoles are made they said.
Sex education in our five mile world!

After games, stories and even more jigsaw puzzles, pizza and ice cream E and F departed.

Bill tidied away the saw dust around the wizard and I promise to put up a Blip tomorrow of him, but I'm sure you'll understand that our grandchildrens visit will always take priority. They dont come as often as I would like.

Off for a lovely long soak in the bath before an early bed. z z z z z z z z!
