nerve"flower"?

What can I say? Bad weather, wind, cold, cloudy, sad, looks like it will start raining any minute now. So what's to "blip".
Well I thougt this flower, or better said, these nerves of what was once a flower.
I think it's amazing how such a delicate object survives wind, cold, snow, frost and rain.
Must be strong somehow?! Since the whole "flower" is less than 1 cm in size.
