Peach blossom

Original inhabitants of China, peach trees are not a common sight in the UK. We have had the good fortune, however, of having two excellent peach trees in our garden for over 2 decades. They have produced the most delicious peaches often leading to scrumping during the summer months when we have been away from home.

Sadly, one of the trees has now died due to old age (we think); and the other one is probably going to be joining its life-long partner soon.

The blossom in the picture is probably its last :-(
