It's been a tiring but inspiring weekend spent skills sharing with women of all ages who want to learn to play in bands. I gave bass classes and one-on-one tuition, took photos and helped generally.

The achievement is quite something - they all met on Friday morning, formed bands that day, wrote a song, rehearsed it and then performed it this evening at a proper venue. I've never experienced such a calm and supportive environment to be creative in and it shows in their compositions and their on stage confidence. I've never seen such light in the eyes of other musicians - pure glee at getting up there and doing it.
