Irene Froy.

Love the softness of the processing technique this artist uses so I thought I'd give it a go. The local camera club in Dundee had helpfully sent me some instructions so here they are...

Copy the background layer and hide the original.

Adjust the levels on the new layer so that the image is very lightly toned and bright. Merge the adjustment layer and make a new copy.

Apply a 60% gaussian blur to the new layer, change the blending mode to multiply and then change the opacity to 70%.

Make another copy of the top layer and use the paint bucket tool with the foreground colour set to white and fill the layer with colour. Change the blending mode of this layer to soft light and set the opacity at 70%.

Adjust levels, contrast etc to suit...
