chhatrapati shivaji terminus

after a short stint home, i dashed off for india over the easter weekend. what an excellent time to travel - had full rows to myself on both the flight to london as well as to mumbai (unfortunately i typically fly in the main cabin). fairly excited for the trip as it's my first time to india.

landed in the hotel in mumbai at 2a, a little rest, breakfast, then off to the local shopping area to buy some new sunglasses (i have 'donated' mine somewhere along this trip). afterwards, the customer's mumbai representative picked me up and we were off to the train station.

a whirlwind tour along the queen's necklace, a quick bite to eat, and this comprises my best pic of the day. cst is actually a unesco site, and bummer for the ongoing works at the top.

loaded into train (ac 2 tier sleeper - as good as it gets on the indian railway) - actually not too crowded on account of the sunday, and 8 hours later, offloaded in jalgaon.

not too bad for a weekend. happy easter!
