Peanut and ?????????????

I was throwing nuts out to Peanut(one that I raised a couple of years ago) she got it , ran up in my crepe myrtle tree, I took a picture and when I uploaded on the ole computer there is something else on that limb with her. Any ideas?? I know its not a baby but quite possible a mouse. Not the best picture I took but certainly the strangest.
