Don't fit, Mummy Ky!

Today we flew to Tasmania to visit Kaz's Dad, Stu and Sue. The flight was at about 5pm so it was still light when we left. Spencer now has his own seat because he is over 2, which is good in one way because there is more room and he doesn't have to sit on one of our laps, but on the other hand, he cant see out the window and doesn't like having a seat belt on and being confined to the chair!

We had been flying for a while and the seat belt sign was still on. We had given Spence a colouring book which came with four double ended crayons as a special thing to do on the plane to keep him entertained! It worked well, he coloured for a bit but at one stage the crayons rolled off his book onto the floor under his seat. I was bending down to reach the crayons under his seat and I happened to be leaning over him a bit to reach. He started calling out 'don't fit, don't fit, Mummy Ky'!! (I am Mummy Ky and Kaz is Mummy Kaz!) He apparently didn't want me leaning over him and touching his feet on his chair!!! It was sort of his version of saying 'Get off me'!!! Kaz and I laughed and laughed!!

The clouds looked awesome once we were high enough to be on top of them. It was overcast in Melbourne when we left and the clouds were in one big wrinkled sheet when we had flown above them. When we were descending, the sun had just set and was making the clouds still above us look a lovely orange colour. They sort of looked like sand dunes.

We flew Tiger airways and they don't have a the best reputation, but we had no problems, we even arrived 5 minuted early! Stu and Sue picked us up then we went to the Hog's Breath Cafe for dinner before driving home.
