Loan er komin!

Spotted these darlings earlinger tonight, by a busy roadside during rush hour. These are Golden Plovers or 'Lóa' as they're called in Icelandic and you know spring is finally here when you hear their call. Haven't heard them at all this year, but seeing is believeing, no? ;)

Hef ekkert heyrt í Lóunni í ár, en sá þetta myndarlega par við Dalveginn fyrr í kvöld og varð steinhissa. Hún er semsagt greinilega komin, ef einhver var í vafa (eins og ég.) :)
