My favorite friends are the kind that I can go for years without seeing and feel like not a day has passed when we are reunited. One of those friends is Amber, who moved to New York City to pursue television/film production/writing after college. She has since then worked on a BBC-funded documentary with an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and produced an Internet television series. You can check it out here: The Third Age. She is currently working on a documentary about the life and work of Grant Morrison, a Scottish comic book writer and playwright. He is in Chicago this weekend for C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo); therefore, she is here too! She's spending most of her time at the convention but we were able to hang out today and grab some delicious food at the Chicago Diner! :)
