A run to remember!

Put on the treads this morning and headed off to Chester to compete in the Hospice of the Good Shepherd 5 mile Run to Remember. At the start line part of me was hoping that I might be in with a chance of winning, but within 30 seconds of running it became apparent that I would be settling for a place (damn those young athletes with energy in their legs!!). Nonetheless, coming home 5th was very satisfying and a new personal best was clocked off in a time of 31 minutes and 7 seconds...well done me!!

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd exists to provide highly specialised palliative care for people living with advanced diseases from the communities of Chester, Deeside, Ellesmere port and Rural Cheshire. More about their work can be found here.
