Life with The Pinks

Posh Pasta

Today the Pink family took a little trip to the big town. The big town has shops that sell mobile phones, of which I need a new one. After discussing with my lovely twitter friends, the virtues of certain models, I decided further investigation was needed. The only thing is that it was Saturday, and it seemed like the whole of north Essex had also decided to do the same thing, so I left the shops with armfuls of brochures but no phone.

We also had passport photos done of baby Pink, and the children had a play in the park next to the castle.

Lunch time next and we settled ourselves in for a very yummy lunch in the finest department store in Colchester. master Pink had his favourite of Fishfingers and chips, Mummy and Daddy Pink made do with sandwiches and baby Pink had a rather fancy organic pasta dish. Baby Pink decided that Mummy wasn't needed in the feeding process, and that in this particular cafe and with this particular posh pasta she was going to practise her self feeding. So at the end of the meal, baby Pink was mostly wearing posh pasta in her hair and on her clothes, mummy Pink had it on her white flowery top, and the floor/tray/table was wearing most of the rest. But she seemed happy and satisfied that a good meal had been eaten!

The afternoon was spent at home and in the garden, or in my case the garage, where I finally cleared through a sack full of old tapes from my teenage Grunge days, and some artwork from Uni.

This evening, I took my mum, to see the Open Door Theatre Company's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at our church. It's a youth theatre group, that is run in the church, but is open to anyone. the production was fantatic, and well done to all those who took part.
