the jinxed ride - 2

after having a broken sleep (thanks to the mosquitoes), we all were up at about 4:30 am. everyone had only one thing in mind - reach home as early as possible. riding after 8:30 - 9:00 am these days is virtually impossible. We hit the road even before the first hue of sunrise appeared on the horizon. Riding in the early morning chill (if I can call it so), we were covering distance twice as fast as we did yesterday evening. Within an hour of riding, we reached the lake (not the one where we were initially headed) and took a quick pit-stop there. One of the riders had already taken a shorter way home a while ago. just a couple of more quick breaks, two tough inclines and I was home by 7:30 am after riding a total of 65 kms since yesterday evening.

Ananthagiri was always a jinxed place for us. This was probably the fourth time we had attempted to ride to that place. On earlier three occasions, we were not able to start because of some reason or the other.

Rest of the Sunday will be spent lazily doing all the 'necessary nothings'.
