After sitting in a darkened room for the best part of 7 hours listening to various speakers on web technologies, I walked back to the hotel and saw this bloke pondering the view of Lake Wakatipu.

So simple, as opposed to hearing about the intricacies of Flex or Silverlight and how they offer better web experiences online. Maybe my experience might have been better sitting beside the lake, instead of a data projector ?
