In the woods

The Hepatica nobilis I posted yesterday are growing on the yard of Botanical Garden but this little one is starting to bloom in the woods. It is amazing how quickly the spring advances, only last week this area was still covered by snow. Now there were already tens of Hepatica buds ready to spread their petals towards the sun.

This little one had not yet raised its flower up but looked rather shy and unnoticeable. However I decided to post this because I like so much the leaf growing so close to the flower. Very often the leaves are a bit further from the flowers.
