Anyone remember Buzby?

My son picked this little badge up in a flea market in Newcastle and thought I might remember Buzby?

Buzby was once the popular face of Britain's Post Office Telephone Service. He was launched in the 1970s, to encourage people to use the 'phone more, with his chirpy slogan, "make someone happy with a telephone call".

But when the Post Office Telephone Service became British Telecom - Buzby's feather's got ruffled!
